Student Center Director
Ms. Jo Lau (email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

Jo Lau was born and raised in Hong Kong. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior when she was 22 years old while she was studying in the United States. She attended “First Chinese Baptist Church” in Chinatown, Los Angeles where she had her baptism and “Teacher Training Program”. After marriage, she moved to Bay Area and became a member of “San Francisco Chinese Alliance Church” where she had served as Head librarian and Sunday School teacher for many years. She started to serve in Student Center as administrative assistant in thinking of knowing more on parenting after she gave birth of a girl in 2001. During that time, God had put a burden in her heart to see how the Student Center was a place much more than providing helping hands in students' homework. She realized that it was also a place to channel God's love and care to both the students and their families with activities: ABC fellowship for students, parenting workshop, family game night, church picnic, Citizenship class, ESL class, and the like. Currently, she is the Director for the Student Center After-school Program.
